Introducing: Mark Steven Hillstrom (@mshillstrom). I think of him as the food-to-table equivalent in the Instagram photo world. He works with what he has for the season and finds flows to work in, but he always expands on his images. His feed is Wisconsin through and through, but darker… in a way Tom Waits or Nick Drake would appreciate. I make those musical comparisons because for as long as I’ve been going into The Exclusive Company in Appleton, I’ve seen Mark’s face. Let’s just say he has worked there since cassettes were still sold and CDs were as expensive as vinyl is now. Mark also writes his own music that will inspire you just the same.
