Vice on vice on vice.
Andrew Linskens’ drawings, paintings and sculptures of the seven deadly sins are currently on display at The Art Garage (Studio C) through October 31. Strongly influenced by his life experiences as a military member, scientist, digital media producer and fine artist, his current work is comprised of both pop-technology-inspired assemblage sculptures and beautifully-detailed drawings are sure to call on your senses.
A closing reception will take place on Oct. 29 from 5-9 p.m. and feature a special music and painting collaboration with hip-hop artist Cujo. See more of Andrew’s work on Youtube, Facebook and at AndrewLinskens.com

I must create. For me, there is nothing more satisfying. It is what I do. Sometimes I see things others do not. I see faces, animals and objects within patterns. I love woodgrain, clouds, shadows and stains. I like puddles polluted with gasoline. I love to watch pigments swirl together. Beauty in the mundane. Everything is pure when I go there. It’s where I feel connected. That’s why I make art. That’s what I love.
